Eisenhower Offers
Robotic Surgery for Partial Knee
Resurfacing
At age 46, George
Segala wasn’t as mobile as he would
like; he suffered from post-traumatic
arthritis. Thanks to a new minimally
invasive surgery for patients who suffer
with early to mid-stage osteoarthritis
of the knee, Segala’s life has changed.
On November 17, Segala was the first
patient at Eisenhower Medical Center to
undergo the minimally invasive
MAKOplastyŽ procedure.
